The St Giles Society of Change Ringers rang a Quarter Peal of Ashtead Surprise Major on 2nd July 2008 which was broadcast on BBC Radio 4’s Bells on Sunday on 10th August 2008.

makes me very homesick, we left ashtead in 1985 and still miss the church bells ringing on tuesday evenings across the village
