Slum LIFE 2007

Back in 2007 a group of 6 young people from LIFE volunteered to live in "Slum like" conditions for a weekend. They had to work for their lentils and rice, collect their water from the stream and make instruments and toys to sell from and rubbish they could find.

They were evicted at 5:30am on the Sunday by new land owners keen to build a church or something! They made a makeshift home in the carpark which collapsed shortly afterwards!
