Besom had two separate requests for fridges at the same time.

We only had one fridge but two fridge freezers.

We rang the first person to arrange delivery; she said that she really wanted a fridge freezer but felt she couldn’t ask for too much. This was good news as the second request could now be met.

We delivered a nearly new slim line fridge freezer, which with a bit of adjustment would fit the gap in the kitchen.

We met a delightful smiling and happy disabled woman and her carer husband who were very thankful as their old fridge freezer had broken and she needed a fridge to store her large range of medicines.

Over coffee she explained about her long stays in hospital, how she had arranged activities for the other patients and been adopted as auntie by the children, one of whom had died. She and other patients had set up a charity to raise funds for the hospital to help improve the stay for long term patients. Despite her many health problems, she was happy focused on helping others and fund raising for the charity.

The happiest people are those who help others.
