ALDAG
(Ashtead Learning Difficulties Action Group) provides
support for people with special needs living independently around Ashtead.
Alternatives Trust
based in East London, provides help
with parenting and life skills for families who have no other source of support.
The Besom
encourages Christians to make a difference. It provides a bridge between those who want to give
their time, money, things or their skills to those in need in the community.
Christchurch Spitalfields
is located in a socially deprived community in East London. We are partnering
with them to sponsor an internship for mission, youth ministry and outreach in their community.
Christian Aid
works through local (usually church) organisations to deliver direct practical benefits for
poor communities in other parts of the world. They also campaign to challenge the causes of poverty.
CPAS
(Church Pastoral Aid Society) resources churches
to help every person hear and discover the good news of Jesus, developing leaders and growing churches.
CSW
(Christian Solidarity Worldwide) is a Christian organisation
working for religious freedom through advocacy and human rights, in the pursuit of justice.
Happy Child International
rescues children and adolescents from the streets and from situations of personal and social risk in Brazil.
Mothers’ Union International
support many projects
around the world, for example, a literacy programme for women in Africa and India.
Tearfund
is a leading relief and development charity working in
partnership with Christian agencies and churches worldwide to tackle the causes and effects of poverty.
Wheels for the World
is an overseas programme of Through the Roof, transforming lives through disabled
people by the provision of wheelchairs and other mobility aids, mainly in Africa.
YAWOSUP
(Yala Widows and Orphans Support Project). A
church based programme supporting widows and orphans in the Yala District of Kenya.
