Your first steps
  • Please contact The Parish Office. Tel 01372 813332 or email parish.office@ashteadparish.org
  • Each couple will be given an appointment with a member of our experienced clergy team. That person will explain the process and help you plan this special occasion.
  • We require all couples to attend a Marriage Preparation Course which is usually held on two consecutive Saturday mornings. This nationally recognised course helps couples to learn about marriage, how to get the most out of it and is practical and fun!
  • For more information about the course content click here
  • Three months before the wedding, couples will meet with the Ministry Administrator, either Karen Goodridge or Sarah Moore to go through legal matters including arranging banns and licence procedures.
